Belfast Film Festival

I was asked to photograph and document numerous events around the Belfast Film festival ( https://belfastfilmfestival.org/ ). These were used for publicity on the website and in the press. Video Operator and Editor for Scarlet Feather Storyteller

Filming and editing Wendy Johnston’s ninety minute final piece for her Masters. This was performed live in front of thirty people and required filming and following the subject, then editing in footage and images that were displayed on screens out of range of the main camera. It was uploaded to youtube for assessment and can be found here -

Prisons Memory Archive
9/12/13 - 1/11/17
Over the four years I was employed by the Prisons Memory Archive ( http://prisonsmemoryarchive.com/ ) I was involved in a variety of different jobs including archive work and liaising with the Public Records of Northern Ireland. Within my jobs I was asked to edit different pieces from existing footage. Amongst these were some walkthrough videos for various locations at the Maze / Long Kesh prison and a trailer for the film, "Armagh Stories", about people's experiences of the gaol -
Healing Through Remembering
3/4/16 – 13/4/17
I provided photographs of Belfast to support and illustrate the keynote speech by Kate Turner, the Healing Through Remembering Director, at the International Network of Museums for Peace Conference in April 2017.

I created and subsequently presented an exhibition called “Then And Now” for Healing Through Remembering, sourcing old photographs of Belfast and then researching the locations to photograph the corresponding view today. Restoration Ministries
20/12/13 – 22/5/14
I filmed and edited a twenty min lecture by Rev Ruth Patterson ( http://www.restorationministries.co.uk/ ) for The Middle Path, taught by The Living School for Action And Contemplation online course based at the Centre For Action And Contemplation, New Mexico. As part of the edit I inserted images to illustrate points during the lecture. This was then uploaded for delivery and the introduction is here -
Susan Hughes Artist

Susan Hughes ( www.susanhughesartist.com ) asked me to photograph Ken Newell, a former moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly in Ireland, as the basis for a painting that helped form her exhibition, "The Quiet Peacemakers". My next project for her was to document her creation of an album cover for Danny Diamond's album, "Fiddle Music" -
